1. What is this ingredient made out of?
A synthetic organic acid derived from acetic acid. Although synthetic, it is permitted for use under COSMOS because of its low environmental impact.
2. What does it do in my final product?
Acts as a mild preservative, preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi.
3. Is this ingredient safe for my baby and me?
Yes, it is safe when used in concentrations up to 0.6%, as it is non-irritating and effective.
