Our ayurvedic formulation has ingredients tailored to the needs of a new mother’s body. It helps tone the postpartum skin and works to lighten the stretch marks. It strengthens the muscles and nourishes the skin. As a new mother, it is vital for you to recuperate from the tiring journey that your body has undertaken. An oil massage will help you relax, increase your blood circulation and relieve stress and tension in your muscles. It will stimulate the production of oxytocin, a happy hormone, that will result in better breast milk production and flow.
How to use:
- Use one hour before a hot bath
- A good maternal masseuse should be able to warm and use this for your massage
- Rinse off well
- Alternatively, use as a post bath moisturiser
Special Note: Do not use the oil on your breasts as it comes directly into contact with your feeding baby. Test the oil on your elbow before use to ensure you have no adverse reactions
Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) oil, Moringa Oleifera (Moringa) seed oil, Rubia Cordifolia (Manjishta) root oil, Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha) root oil, Curcumin Longa (Turmeric) root oil, Crocus Sativus (Saffron) flower stigma.
