These are made using GOTS certified organic 100% cotton fabric dyed not with any chemicals but traditional natural dyes. Soo… soft, comfortable and non-allergen. Safe and gentle for baby and mother Earth!
Herbs used for colors:
- For White – Simple scouring process. Fabric is boiled for 3 hours and sun dried
- Yellow – Terminalia Chebula, Jack tree & Calendula flower
- Pink – Lac
- Blue – Indigo
- Mordant – Alum
Gradual bleeding will occur with first 2 washes of natural dyes. Unlike chemical dyes, this will only add to the aesthetics of the product.
Wash Care:
- Do not rub the fabric
- Do not soak or bleach
- Hand wash preferred to machine wash
- Use PH neutral detergent or Reetha (Soapnut)
- Do not dry in direct sunlight
